/ OUR STORY

Every single member of our team is passionate about travelling and exploring new, remote places. During our travels, we have come to realize the significant consequences caused by plastic (over)consumption. We hiked mountains and found plastic packaging along our way, snorkelled in oceans between plastic bags and sunbathed next to plastic bottles and toothbrushes instead of next to coconuts. We have seen with our own eyes how the overuse of plastic is completely destroying our nature and environment. We need to act now. We have decided that we cannot wait for others to solve these issues for us! We need to start making the necessary changes ourselves and stop finding excuses to push it to tomorrow.

That is why we do everything we can to contribute to building a greener future. By creating Just Smile, we want to offer eco-friendly alternatives for plastic items, to make living a greener lifestyle easy for everyone. By challenging ourselves to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. Helena is carrying her pink water bottle, reusable straws and reusable cutlery kit everywhere she goes. When purchasing coffee Kazuna asks the waiter to refill her reusable coffee mug. On his side, Niklas uses his bike to go everywhere.  And of course, we all use Just Smile bamboo toothbrushes and travel cases everywhere we go.

We wanted to go snorkeling in a lonely island "Koh Kao Kang", Thailand and this is what we found...

With our first products, the bamboo toothbrush and bamboo travel cases we want to provide you with an easy, eco-friendly alternative to the conventional plastic toothbrushes. Just imagine if every one of us would shift from plastic to bamboo toothbrushes, we would reduce the number of plastic toothbrushes thrown away every year by more than 30,8 billion. That would be a significant start to stop further pollution of nature and stop increasing the amount of microplastic present in our soil, in our drinking water and in the fishes.
